Dr Ruslinda Mustafar

Dr Ruslinda Mustafar has received her degree in Medicine (MD) from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM). She worked as a Medical Officer since 2002 and then joined the Master’s program in 2007. She graduated with a Masters in Internal Medicine in 2011.

Subsequently, she worked as a specialist in Internal Medicine since 2011 before joining UKM in 2012. She completed her Nephrology subspecialty training in 2015. In 2020, she was awarded Assoc. Professor in Medicine post and currently she is a consultant Nephrologist in Hospital Canselor Tuanku Muhriz, UKM Medical Centre and was appointed as Head of Nephrology Unit since 2017.

As a lecturer, her passion is all about teaching and educating the juniors. She also involved in many research activities in her university and participated as an investigator in several multicenter studies. She was invited to many series of lectures locally and nationally. Her areas of interest include chronic kidney disease, hemodialysis, primary glomerulonephritis and extracorporeal therapy.
