Dr Lily Mushahar is the Head and Consultant Nephrologist of Department of Nephrology, and Head of Clinical Research Centre in Hospital Tuanku Ja’afar Seremban, Malaysia.
Dr Lily received her Nephrology fellowship training at the University of North Staffordshire Hospital, Stoke-on-Trent, United Kingdom.
She is the current Vice President of the Malaysian Society of Nephrology (2020-2022) and council member of Malaysian Society of Diagnostic Interventional Nephrology. She is the Chair of International Society of Peritoneal Dialysis (ISPD) membership and a member of ISPD Scholarship & Award committee.
Dr Lily’s main interest is in Peritoneal Dialysis (PD). She is active in developing the PD training program for doctors and nurses in Malaysia and South East Asia. She is actively involved in the International Society of Nephrology (ISN) Sister Renal project to develop PD services in Indonesia.
Dr Lily has published papers in international journals and was an invited reviewer for Peritoneal Dialysis International Journal, Nephrology, Clinical Kidney Journal, Renal Failure and International Journal for Urology and Nephrology.
