Dr Rosnawati Yahya

Dr Rosnawati Yahya is currently the Head of Transplantation Unit and Deputy Head of the Department of Nephrology in Kuala Lumpur Hospital.

Dr Rosnawati received her B. Sc (Med Science) from University of St Andrews Scotland in 1991, MBChB (Hons) from Victoria University of Manchester, United Kingdom in 1994. She obtained MRCP(UK) in 1997. She pursued sub-speciality training in Nephrology in Hospital Kuala Lumpur which included a clinical fellowship in the University Hospital of Leicester, United Kingdom.

She is the President of Malaysian Society of Transplantation, President of The Post Graduate Renal Society Malaysia, Chairperson Malaysian Kidney Allocation System, Chairperson of Malaysian Registry of Renal Biopsy, Advisory Committee for the National Renal Registry, and International Advisor for Commonwealth Tribute to life program.

Dr Rosnawati's main interests include kidney transplantation, Glomerular disease (Lupus Nephritis and IgA nephropathy) and Quality in Health Care.
