Assoc Prof Kriengsak Wareesangthipin

I received my B.Sc. and M.D. degrees from the Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital, Mahidol University, Bangkok, Thailand, in 1980 and 1982, respectively, also Board of Internal Medicine, Board of Nephrology and Board of Family Medicine from The Medical Council, Thailand, in 1988, 1992 and 2002, respectively.

In addition, I also received a PhD degree in Doctor of Philosophy from the University of Newcastle-upon-Tyne, U.K., in 1997 and a Certificate of the Registrar in Nephrology and General Medicine from Royal College of Physician of London, U.K.

I am currently a member of The Renal Association (UK), International Society of Nephrology, American Society of Nephrology, Asian Society of Transplantation, The Transplantation Society, The Royal College of Physicians of Thailand, The Nephrology Society of Thailand, Thai Transplantation Society, Thai Hypertension League, Medical Association of Thailand, The College of Family Physicians of Thailand, The General Practitioners / Family Physicians Association Thailand and Thai Atherosclerosis Society.

I was the President of the Thai Transplantation Society during 2012-2017 and the President of the Nephrology Society of Thailand during 2016-2020.
