Dr HIN-SENG WONG is the senior consultant and Head of the Department of Nephrology and Head of the Clinical Research Centre (CRC) in Hospital Selayang.
He obtained his Doctor of Medicine (MD) and Master in Medicine (Internal Medicine) from National University of Malaysia and completed his nephrology fellowship in Sheffield Kidney Institute, England in 1997.
He is currently the president of the Malaysian Society of Diagnostic & Interventional Nephrology (MSDIN), member of the MMC Specialist Evaluation Subcommittee for nephrology, and councillor & congress chair of the Asian Pacific Society of Dialysis Access (APSDA). He is past president of the Malaysian Society Nephrology (MSN), past president of the Post Graduate Renal Society of Malaysia (PGRSM), past chairman of eMOSS and past chief editor of Malaysian Dialysis and Transplant Registry. He is a fellow of the Royal College of Physician of Edinburgh and a fellow of the Academy of Medicine of Malaysia.
He has 60 publications in peer-reviewed journals, author of over 30 reports and chapter of books, and editor of the MOH RRT CPG (1st till 4th edition). He has delivered over 180 lectures at scientific meetings both locally and abroad, presented over 200 research papers in local and international meetings.
