An active member of the Malaysian Society of Nephrology, Malaysian Society of Transplantation and International Society of Nephrology, Dr. Yudisthra has over 12 years of experience in Internal Medicine and Nephrology with a subspeciality interest in Interventional Nephrology and Renal Bone Disease.
In terms of Nephrology, he has worked in 4 different hospitals before joining KPJ Johor Specialist Hospital as a NSR Certified Nephrologist. With numerous international publications and presentations under his belt, Dr. Yudisthra also has experience managing dialysis centres.
His areas of special interest include Chronic Kidney Disease, Haemodialysis, Peritoneal Dialysis, Peritoneoscope Tenckhoff Catheter Insertion for Peritoneal dialysis, Fistulograms and Fistuloplasties, Cuffed Tunneled Hemodialysis Catheter Insertions, Critical Care Nephrology (including the use of CRRT, SLED in ICU), Diabetic Nephropathy and the Management of Glomerulonephritis including Lupus (SLE) Nephritis.
He is also conversant in the use of Plasmapharesis in resistant glomerulonephritis and active autoimmune diseases.
